Archers recently acquired the services of striker Gareth Ross from Cambridge United a 4th tier club in England. Now in the UFL, Ross will be surely tested as he will surely be sent into the fire immediately by Archers boss Jimbo. Fire is a good way to describe his first test as he will look to show his talents in a RoW League match against New Zealand powerhouse WCW away on Tuesday afternoon and against Scape United at home on Wednesday of the same time.

“The boss (Jimbo) has expressed his belief in me and my abilities and I wish to give back to the team for their interest in me. I can contribute in many ways and wish to stay in the club for a long time. My teammates have already welcomed me with open arms here and it feel like I’m right at home.” said the English striker to media

“Gareth will bolster our front lines for a few seasons” Jimbo told the press

“He finishes well and tries no fancy stuff. He will be a great addition to our locker room too because of his professionalism. He is still young and can learn a lot from top league football. He will play tomorrow and I’m happy that he chose to play here.” the boss added

Ross will wear the famous number 9 worn by one famous Archer, the “Philippine Eagle” Alfredo Varela.
